Jerry, I don't think I have especially long arms for my height, but I'm definitely not built for squatting. Anyway, it takes longer for me to recovery from deadlifting (my lower back stays sore forever), but squatting definitely takes more out of me. I really have to dig deep to motivate myself to squat, especially in the 8-14 range. Not so much with the DL.
