Lauzon choose to be on the show. He tried getting his brother on it, but he was too young.
So the UFC offered Lauzon an opportunity on the show, or a chance to fight Spencer Fisher. He choose TUF for all of its extra benefits.
It's not like he was forced to be on the show.
