Of course substitute the 10.0 folder with whatever version you're using. For example if you were using Windows Media Player 9.0 then look for that folder and rename it to 9.0b. Not sure if this will definitely solve your problem, but the worst you'll need to do to change things back is to rename the folder back to it's original name.
