Were you running consistently before you bought the shoes, or did you just start running after you bought them?

When I first started running I got shin splints and had other problems, but once my body got used to running I stopped having problems.

If you're just starting out it also helps to start out slowly with slow sessions for a while before you advance to speed intervals. That was one of my problems early on.
