He took the third fight too soon after the second, he could have just waited and faught more cans, regain the his confidence and get over the last loss and then come back stronger.
But no he had to take the close rematch because he was so pissed about the second fight he thought this time he could not make the mistake.
So he walks into the fight injured and injurs himself more. Lost the titleshot and also destroyed the hype of a rematch, nobody wants to see AA vs Tim 4 anytime soon.
He really thought his knee was messed up but it was ok the MRI showed. The Foot/Ankle was broken.
