Being active duty military, former bouncer for 5 years and having been involved with LEO's throughout the years, I highly suggest this type of training. I have been in scuffles where after submitting someone, detaining them then searching them, I have found knives and other items (ie pens, kubatons) that could have been used if the aggressor so chose to. When doing kajukenbo ground work my guys are taught to make an effort to detect such things. You may not have a situation where the opponent desides to use all the tools in his/her tool box. You have to train to be ready for anything. In combat you may be get into a range where the m4 or m16 is useless and have to transition to m9 etc. If you are not well versed in such tactics you may not come home.

Ps. Please avoid being an internet tough guy. You may not be as hard to reach as you think. No need for that crap. Come to think of it Sleddog aka Phillip Gelinas has a crew in Canada... oops Strike 1.
I make it a point not to disrespect others here on the site, please show the same courtesy. Ok, that being said. Enough - I wont respond to that type of crap again. Never know when you might be stopped at a trafic light and yanked out of your car wondering "what did I do?"

Peace
Doc
