You could say the same thing about Wanderlei Silva going 1-2 in UFC, and then becoming one of the biggest Brazilian stars Japan has ever known. You realize that, if Silva loses to Liddell, then his UFC record will be a stunning 1-3?

It sounds like you're quick to discredit Rich Franklin for getting knocked out by a light heavyweight. Unfortunately for you, Franklin is widely considered to be the #1 middleweight in the world, and is always in the top two alongside Henderson in one way or another. You make it sound like, if Franklin went to Pride or K-1 and fought, he'd come back with a loss.

To get to Henderson, you don't have to go through a tough road. That's because Pride doesn't schedule their title shots like that; hell, they rarely ever schedule title shots. For what it's worth, Kazuo Mizaki is getting his second shot at Henderson in a row in this "stacked weight division". David Baron is coming out of nowhere and fight Takanori Gomi in this "stacked weight division".

Nonetheless, you've lumped up all the middleweight talent in Japan and put it into one block. I've got a lump for you. Jeremy Horn, Matt Lindland, Rich Franklin, Nathan Marquardt, Anderson Silva, Evan Tanner, Ivan Salaverry, David Loiseau, Chael Sonnen, Mike Swick, Chris Leben, David Terrell, Yushin Okami. That's all USA, buddy. If I had time, I'd sit here and read off some more names. You get the point.
