Brock Lesnar... Unbeatable in one year?

Hello all, this is my first post. I've been a lurker for quite some time. I'm not sure if anyone cares but those of you who know of him, I found it interesting. Here goes, be gentle on me.

Pat Miletich on Brock Lesnar

"One year from now there won't be anybody alive who can beat him."

From Dave Meltzer
--For whatever this is worth, the St. Paul Pioneer Press today claims Brock Lesnar's fight MMA fight will be in October in Las Vegas. Within the industry, the belief is Lesnar has signed with K-1/Hero's. I do know that UFC talked with him but believe they are not going to get him. Neither K-1 nor Hero's has a show in Las Vegas in October, so at least part of that story is false. There is a Hero's show in Japan in October, but if he's going to debut on that show, one would expect he will make an appearance to announce it Saturday night in Tokyo, so we'll know in two days or less about that one. If it is with K-1, for all concerned, it makes the most sense for him to debut on New Year's Eve. Lesnar's lawsuit settlement with WWE saw him for all real purposes win the case outright without an official verdict which would set a bad precedent for WWE's future enforcement of such clauses. He's allowed to do anything he wants to do at this point, at least as it pertains to anything he's considering or has talked about.

My take on it so far...

He's definitely a heavyweight and comes into MMA with a strong work ethic and a solid wrsetling background. In one year will he be able to:

Not gas like most heavyweights
He's got a ton of muscle. A ton of muscle needs a ton of oxygen. He's gone 30+ minutes with Kurt Angle but we all know MMA doesn't let you rest for a minute on the mat after a huge spot. Endurance, in my opinion, will be Brock's biggest obstacle.

Gain a solid striking game
We've all seen jiu-jitsu guys try to stand and exchange. It's like taking a boxer to the ground. I have no doubt that Lesnar is a quick learner. But, if he hasn't had any previous muy thai, kickboxing, or sparring experience, can he make up the several year gap that would be between him and Tim Sylvia? Andrei Orlavski? Fedor Emilienenko?

Be confortable on his back
Being on the back is a big crutch for many wrestlers. It's only those wrestlers who train jiu-jitsu that become comfortable on their backs. It's not good to be comfortable on your back (Nick Diaz is 0 for his last 3 because he was too comfortable on his back) but can he weather the frustration that comes with a guy on top of you for an entire round (Forest griffin underneath Ortiz for 5 minutes). If he can't, he could get antsy, gas out from frustration and squirming, or subject himself to a quick submission or top mount.

Take a punch
Still yet to be determined. He's got a huge noggen like Cabbage and his traps connect to his ears (not sure what that means against being knocked out, I just know the straps on his overalls would constantly slide off). It'll take some time before we know if he's comfortable with bring hit or even seeing his own blood.

Make Weight
it sounds kind of silly but isn't the cutoff in UFC 265 for the heavyweights? 265 for Lesnar's size and build seems light. I know that he probably cut weight all the time in his amatuer wrestling career so I don't see this as being much of a problem. He has to change his mindset from big is better ideal in the WWE.

It should be interesting. Pat Miletich is a stud and he holds a lot of credibility so he must see a heap of potential in Lesnar.

Your thoughts?
