I think sprawls and take down defense should count as well. They do in my book. I think the biggest thing they need to do is decide on a criteria (whatever it is) and train the damn judges and the fans so we are all looking at the same thing. Christ, sometimes, you wonder if the judge was even in the building during the fight.
