I feel bad for Fowler. He deserved the win either way since he did lock out the sub and because he got slammed which was an illegal tactic. This kind of reminds me of the Jacare-Roger controversy from 2 years ago although there wasn't a slam in that instance. I hope that referee gets fined for his bad judgment and isn't used in the Mundials again.
