If I had to guess, I'd say the UFC is going to stake a claim in DSE and they will be touted as equal but opposite promotions; Pride will operate in Japan and the U.S., and they will try to cultivate their growing cross-cultural audience. Top Pride fighters will step into the cage to alert audience of their presence and top UFC fighters will fight in Pride promotions, probably mostly in Japan. What do you think?
P.S. Phil Baroni is confirmed to be fighting in the cage in November. Dave Menne is back in the UFC. Baroni vs. Menne 2??!?!?!?!?!?!

they have said that the UFC belt is on the line... the titles are unified only if wandy wins *from the look of things now*
and umm... menne lost to koscheck... do you really want him fighting baroni? speaking of baroni... who would you actually have him fight in the 185 division? not franklin, silva, or the winner of the crow/swick.
