Agreed.

Simple equations, a skilled submission artist is the most capable at defending against submissions, by that same token a skilled grappler is the most skilled at avoiding the takedowns. You cannot learn how to defend a takedown with a few lessons at sprawling because a sprawl does not always work, it depends much on your timing. Spend some time working on your grappling game with a real instructor. Often times high school coaches teach an off season grappling class. Make sure you go to a Greco or Freestyle grappling class and don't look to a BJJ class to improve your takedown defense.
