I heard some story about him overdoing his fight scenes and apparently kicking stunt men waaaaaay harder than he is supposed to and also, mysteriously eye gouged some guy during a fight scene on Cyborg. I heard a rumour that he was also knocked out by Chuck Zito in a night club.

Apparently he has fought his wife a few times too. I assume he won.

* Steven Seagal: More again I'm sure. He was getting overly rough with stunt men on Marked for Death and Gene LeBell (one of the stunt men) challenged him off screen. They squared off and LeBell whacked a rear naked choke on him and choked him unconscious.

* Brandon Lee: Not sure when this was, but some guy broke into Brandon Lee's house. Lee (an avid JKD, Muay Thai and shootwrestler) came home and found this guy in his house and a fight started. They squared off in the living room and the guy ended up pulling a knife and then Lee dislocated the guys shoulder and broke his jaw. The fight finished on the front lawn and the police arrived and by this time Lee had disarmed him but was now holding the knife. Cops pulled their guns and pointed them at him. Lee shit and threw the knife away yelling the first thing that came into his head, "I'm the good guy! I'm the good guy!". The cops arrested the guy, who had no idea who he had just fought with.
I had previously heard of the Van-Damme/Zito incident, but it sounded like Zito suckerpunched Van-Damme.

I had never heard of what happened to either Seagal or Lee. Oh well; just goes to show you that movies are just movies.

To pitch in my own incident; anyone remember Ed O'Neil? The guy who played Al Bundy on the sitcom "Married With Children?" Well, believe it or not, he's a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Helio Gracie (I believe) and he actually choked an armed assailant unconscious when he was trying to assault a young woman. Out of all the guys I expected to lay the smackdown, Al Bundy was probably the last on that list.
