why do people follow what famous philosophers said so strictly..?
times have changed and so have the mindsets of people. The whole thing about how people have sex because they have the feeling to reproduce is outdated. Sex has come a long way since back in the days of freud.
People have sex just to have sex... it feels good, its a good way to release some stress and plus the mental connection created feels good on several different levels.
As for every motivation being based on sex, what motivates an individual to do what he/she does is determined depending on the individual. For some people sex is the basis of their lives; go to school to meet people, go to clubs to meet people, go to work to meet people. For other people there is a degree of self satisfaction that comes from success, pushing yourself beyond your normal limits.
Then you have to take into account that sometimes things motivate people to have sex, whores, strippers, escourts... what i mean is that these people have sex to make money, they're not motivated by sex to make money but motivated by money to have sex.
This is why i hate philosophy, almost everything thats said is bullshit but at the same time they're not completely inaccurate so people will always be there to argue everything.
