Whoever made this clip is pretty damn nasty:
There’s no SBMM, so I won’t play it.
Dominating lower skilled players, or getting wrecked by higher skilled players, isn’t fun for me. There’s no feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day.
Nice! Appreciate the update.
So, the game is coming out in a couple weeks. I went to YouTube to get caught up, and the most recent trailer from Ubisoft I could find was from a year ago. Weird. Looks fun as hell, though.
This project's endured both production bumps and false starts not unlike Skull & Bones, iirc, leaving target segment in the dark, I think. Ubi has always excelled at marketing collateral like trailers so it's wild to me the one thing they're good at, they're not doing here. Interesting catch. So, the game is coming out in a couple weeks. I think there being a new title in the general FPS space to be pretty exciting, though; definitely got my eyes on game reception and performance.
That’s comms though like you’d originally said; with that, fully agree. I mention specifically marketing collateral, where Ubi has long produced graphics or trailers much cooler than the games themselves. Following Clark’s observation of lack of trailer to galvanise the upcoming launch, I commented that was surprising because it’s one of the only things Ubi does well.Ubi 's marketing team has been shit the past 4 years. A lot of the most recent Siege season releases have been absolutely terrible. There's little to no info on when the patches drop. They're not even communicating with the biggest content creators for when patches drop, if they get pushed back, etc. I don't know if it's a French thing, but the way Ubi deals with its community is frustrating.
It can't be worse than Hyper Scape or Extraction. One is dead, and the other has 87 current players.
