I saw it all in real time. From her acting on “Good Times”, in the 70s. To her first solo album. But I never saw it all so close and clear chronologically. And understanding it now. She literally was possibly the biggest Rock and Roll act of All-Time.

And the only other name in the conversation is her brother.
 
No, read all his biographies over the years and don't feel the need to revisit his story. That being said I love a good song and dance man and JB was one of the best. Also, Live @ The Apollo is top 5 greatest live albums ever made.
