How tf do you explain Aldo?

Aldo will always be one of the greats. He has an amazing skill set and a pretty good fight IQ minus the Connor fight.

37, well past his prime, and - about a half a million fight miles. you add that in, it really becomes insane. people forget how great aldo was because of the holloway losses, but he really was one of the goats.

Truly amazing what a testing exemption will do for you.

Aldo is greatness but against Holloway we saw he would have lost 10 out of 10 to that style, he would have beaten Conor in a rematch I believe (maybe) and his other fights could go either way if he fought again and adjusted, except maybe Yan.

But against Max, due to clash of styles, I do not ever see him winning that fight because of Holloway's insane cardio, which is why no matter how great Aldo is, he can never be greater than Max in that division.

Similar could be said of Max vs Volk but one of those could have gone either way and Max has improved where aldo hasn't.

Still, the dude is incredible.
